Exalted Ruler Bruce Swedal Honored with a Quilt of Valor

Bruce Swedal, Exalted Ruler of Littleton Elks Lodge #1650, was honored for his military service
with a Quilt of Valor on November 17th.
Quilts of Valor are provided “to cover Service Members and Veterans touched by war with
comforting and healing Quilts of Valor.”
Bruce served in the United States Army as an E-4 (Specialist) during the Cold War, from
1985-1989. As a Military Intelligence Specialist, Bruce analyzed foreign communications,
supported electronic warfare operations, and provided translation and transcription services.
Military achievements include the Good Conduct Medal, an assortment of certificates of
achievement, and commendations earned through dedicated service and expertise.
Bruce joins Pat Dahmer as a Quilt of Valor recipient from Lodge #1650. Pat was honored on
October 22, 2025.
