Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Most common questions about membership are addressed below. However, if you have any additional questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact our Lodge at 303-794-1819.

As a non-member can I enter the Lodge?

Non-members are able to enter the Lodge if the Lodge is open to the public for a special event or if you are a guest of an Elk member in good standing. If neither of these are true you would not be able to enter the Lodge. Become a member!

How can I become a member?

Contact the Littleton Elks Secretary at 303-794-1819 or visit the Elks website and complete the membership inquiry form.

What is the Elks application process like?

Your application will be reviewed at a regular Lodge meeting. It will then be forwarded to the Investigating Committee, who will contact you and set up a time for you and your sponsor to meet with the committee. After the interview is concluded, the committee will report to the Lodge concerning your membership. The members will be given a notice not less than 10 days nor more than two months before the vote will be taken.

When the vote is concluded, you will be notified and asked to present yourself and your spouse for orientation. During orientation, you will learn more about the Order's programs and charities. You will also be told during the program the date you will be initiated.

If for any reason your application is rejected, you can submit a new application for membership after six months from the date of rejection.

When are the Lodge meetings?

Lodge meetings are the 1st and 3rd Thursday every month. Meetings begin at 7:00PM.
