History of Lodge #1650

History of Lodge #1650

Littleton Lodge #1650 was organized in 1941 by Brother Ivan J. Joss. A member of Boulder Lodge #566, Ivan gathered interested prospective members at the Littleton Community Center. And on January 20, 1942 - in conjunction with Denver Lodge #17 - the first officers for Lodge #1650 were elected. Ivan was the first member of our lodge and elected to Honorary Life Membership.

Our charter was issued by Grand Lodge on July 16, 1942 and hangs on the wall of the lodge room. A formal dedication of our current lodge building was held in December 1950, by the then Exalted Ruler James A. Drehle. Learn more.

Dedicating the Littleton Elks Lodge in 1942

Since 1942, the Littleton Elks Lodge has supported our community through programs that invest in children’s education, projects that address unmet needs, and by honoring the service and sacrifices of our veterans and first responders.
