About the Elks
Elk Lodges bring so much more to their communities than just a building, golf course or pool. They are places where neighbors come together, families share meals, and children grow up. Elks invest in their communities through programs that help children grow up healthy and drug-free, by undertaking projects that address unmet needs, and by honoring the service and sacrifices of our veterans and first responders.
We are…
- A fraternal order with nearly 1 million members with a 157 year history
- A network of more than 1800 lodges across the country
- A generous charitable foundation that each year gives millions in scholarships, and inspiration to youth, a friend to veterans, first responders and more
In 2024, the Elks reported $505M in total donations and in-kind volunteer hours. Nationally, the Elks provided $12M in scholarships, $27M in community programs and $40M in support of our veterans.
