ENF Focus Grant Awarded to Littleton Elks #1650 Veterans Committee
It is with great pleasure and excitement that we announce that the Littleton Veterans Committee has been awarded its first Elks National Foundation (“ENF”) Focus Grant in the amount of $10,000.
This significant milestone marks a major step forward in the Lodge’s ongoing commitment to serving veterans in the local community. Focus Grants are grants reserved for Lodges actively engaged in hands-on outreach to veterans who are experiencing an unhoused condition or at risk of becoming unhoused.
The funds from this grant will be used to support the Lodge’s growing partnership with the Volunteers of America (“VoA”), Clermont Commons, and VA Community Resource and Referral Center, including providing essential household goods, furniture, clothing, food, and transportation assistance.
This achievement reflects the dedication and hard work of the Littleton Elks Veterans Committee, whose consistent efforts have built the kind of community-focused service program recognized by the ENF. The Veterans Committee is excited to expand its impact through this grant and remains committed to fulfilling the Elks’ solemn pledge: So long as there are veterans, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks will never forget them.
