Elks Give Back Day – Volunteers Needed
Volunteers from our Lodge will be hosting another Break Bread Charity “Free Community Meal” at their gathering place on Saturday, November 18th. This event has come to be known as our “Elks Give-Back Day”!
From start to finish, the Lodge will prepare and serve a Thanksgiving themed family style dinner to our neighbors in Littleton. We also volunteer to deliver to-go meals to local neighbors who are unable to attend. Elks volunteer for various shifts such as table setup, serving, clearing and washing dishes, and cleanup. In addition, this is a “Volunteer Appreciation Day” dinner for Break Bread, so with Elks members volunteering, the Break Bread staff and regular volunteers get the night off!
I am looking for approximately 20 to 25 volunteers to join us. Your time commitment can be as little as an hour or up to 3 hours if you have the time! No task is longer than 3 hours. The Dinner runs from 4pm until 6pm.
Please contact Kathy Keyser PER to sign-up and be a part of this worthwhile event!
